No Assumptions
Just out here finishing up a run and had some thoughts in my head wondering if anyone's read The Four Agreements. Nice little read. And one of the agreements that I think about often is assumptions and assuming and having no assumptions about anything, about anyone. About how anyone perceives you or what they think about you, or if they're even thinking about you, which chances are they're not. And their reflection, reaction, anything towards you, negative or positive, is just a reflection of themselves. So not assuming makes a world of difference, and it just lifts that load right off your shoulders. If you need any help with some little tricks and tools for that, I'd be more than happy to show you. We're all human. We all slip. The key is to make it a practice. Learn these little tricks and catch yourself sooner rather than later.
