My Story

My Story

I'll never forget that Saturday morning. I was going through my usual weekend routine - cleaning the house while listening to the TV in the background. I was overweight and miserable, trapped in a cycle of emotional eating and fatigue. As I wiped down the kitchen counters, I heard the sound of cheering coming from the TV. The Ironman World Championship in Hawaii was on, with athletes crossing the finish line. I stopped what I was doing and watched them, completely transfixed.

People were sobbing, overwhelmed with emotion as they hugged loved ones at the finish line. The energy was electric - the cheering crowds, the inspirational music playing. I stood there crying, deeply moved by what I was witnessing. In that moment, I wanted to feel what they were feeling - the culmination of hard work, determination and spirit. I wanted to know that level of accomplishment.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could do an Ironman triathlon - a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile marathon. But seeing the raw emotion and achievement of those finishers stirred something in me.

I started with small improvements in my life and health and now 10 years later I just finished my 19th Ironman Triathlon.

Let’s see if I can help you overcome your obstacles.
